Vision

The Fancy Hat Family follows down on his luck Richard as friendly ghost Charlie helps him follow his dreams and create a club dedicated to the love and appreciation of fancy hats. Sure, Charlie can bit a bit much sometimes, but he has good intentions, right? But what’s Helter Skelter got to do with any of this? And a war between those who wear hats and not? What?

A satirical take on cults, Richard and his ‘family’ are lured through the eight stages of cult recruitment; from step one, an invitation to a non-threatening event, in the form of an ice cream social, to step eight, control of identity, information, and environment, at which Richard locks his mother in a retirement home.

Guaranteed to never let you look at an ice cream social the same way again.
