Vision

Second Stage Playwriting is currently the only group on Michigan State Campus that gives student playwrights the opportunity to workshop and perform their scripts in front of an audience. Nuclear was produced as part of their 2nd Annual Student Expose.

Nuclear follows Jo, a 1950’s housewife, as her entire life, family, and decade prove to be a lie. As impossible truths come to light, Jo alone must choose whether or not to go nuclear.

In just under a week of rehearsal time, Caitlyn Myers and Tobias Sanders brought ‘happily married’ couple Jo and Michael to life and proved, that to make a change, the nuclear option must be pressed.
